What causes oily hair?

Sebaceous oil glands exist in our skin. They secrete a special oil called subum, which lubricates the skin. Every hair follicle is connected to ducts that contain sebum. If you have normal hair, then your glands release just enough sebum to lubricate the hair and keep it healthy. If you have an oily scalp, you may be dealing with an overactive subaceous gland.
